Where are we going?

by Tzvi M Arnstein

Throughout this war, soldiers have entered countless homes in Gaza.

In nearly every one, they’ve found a picture of Jerusalem.

Not just any part of Jerusalem, though.

Har HaBayis.

Yet, how many Jewish homes today proudly display a picture of Har HaBayis?!

Why is that?!

It’s time to change the way we see ourselves, and our future.

It’s time to start seeing Geulah not just as a dream, but as a reality coming true before our very eyes.

These highway signs point us in that direction.

Physically and spiritually.

As we learn from Elkanah, the father of Shmuel HaNavi, who took longer routes to the Mishkan to stir curiosity and inspire others to join the pilgrimage, may these signs serve the same purpose.

And may Har HaBayis truly be on our maps once again
