Throughout history, Am Yisrael has faced many times of Shas HaShmad (moments of religious oppression).
One of the most well-known examples? The days of the Maccabees.
The Greeks didn’t try to kill the Jews physically.
They aimed to erase the Avodah.
To defile the Mikdash.
To strip our identity from within.
But the Maccabees stood firm.
They risked their lives not for survival, but for kedusha.
For the right to serve Hashem in His home.
Today, we are hearing the same message from the world around us:
“Jews have no right to Har HaBayis.”
“You cannot pray. You cannot build. You do not belong.”
And when we respond with silence, it’s spiritual surrender.
A denial of Torah, of Hashem’s promise, and of our mission as a nation.
📖 Halacha is clear:
In a Shas HaShmad, even the smallest mitzvah becomes Yehareg v’al Ya’avor.
When the holiest place on earth is under siege, we don’t retreat.
We respond with Mesiras Nefesh.
Har HaBayis is not optional.
It’s time to go up.
Show up.
And begin to rebuild 💪🏻
