This isn't just a catchy phrase, it's a profound and eternal truth.
While this can be difficult to fully grasp today, in the times when the Beis HaMikdash stood on Har HaBayis, it was tangibly felt.
All Jews, regardless of their status, would ascend to perform the mitzvah of Hishtachavaya.
There were no VIP sections, no status symbols, no rankings.
Every Jew stood equally before the Ribono Shel Olam, together.
Rich or poor, scholar or simpleton, righteous or struggling, famous or a pashuta yid.
They all came together, shoulder to shoulder, soul to soul, united in purpose on the holy ground of Har HaBayis.
Today, while the Beis HaMikdash is no longer standing, this sentiment remains true (though perhaps hidden to many).
It is our responsibility, however, to bring this message back into the world by rebuilding the Bayis HaMikdash and bringing the Geula.
It is time we reconnect with those feelings.
Let’s unite to make sure that happens!
